Good, I hope they nail all those scumbags
It really is the best thing that can happen to the crypto space just throwing all the crooks in the can one after the other. That slob from FTX isn’t going to do his time easy either.

After enough dodgy nerds get locked up, trust will begin to rebuild.

Guy is realizing those machines quote Bitcoin at 30% higher than it’s actual price and charge a fee, I don’t why people would touch those things

Is Bitcoin a digital bearer asset? It seems to be doing well along with gold for once in the current crisis.
If it is a digital bearer asset how does that work when it needs so much Government and Corporate infrustructure to be created and exchanged?

No government or corporation are needed other than moving it along existing infrastructure. Governments more likely to ban it (or try) or use it as ransomware (north Korea)

It has performed well this year (beating gold) I think we would have hit 30k by the 26th had JPow paused that 1/4 point rate hike but that was s stupid bet on my part because I knew the hike was coming I thought they might hold off due to the banking shakeup thats why I rarely bet I am terrible with it.

And they said Bitcoin wouldn’t go anywhere. Bitcoin cologne, I wonder if it’s smell is as volatile as the Bitcoin price

It smells divine when central banks create trillions out of thin air, and stinks to high heaven when they tighten monetary policy! 😁

Some, basic few investments in cryptocurrency from my side.. they're too much volatile and unpredictable, it's like gambling. If you like the risk, then you're welcome 😀

It's looking like Ripple will finally hear from Judge Torres this week. A positive outcome will see XRP being deemed a commodity along side Bitcoin. Goldman Gary the chair of the SEC has basically deemed all crypto apart from Bitcoin a security so a win for Ripple will send the price of XRP to a new all time high and beyond if Twitter is to be believed.

Very strange I just started working with this girl from Togo. I asked what brought her to the US she stated her family were “Bitcoin activist” protesting the government and Frances control of the African nations economy. She has some issues I won’t get into I thought maybe she was spinning a tail but I did some research and it may very well be true. There are better documentaries explaining the situation in many African countries but it gets to political I don’t want to post it I’m not looking at this from an anti France perspective simply an economic example and how Bitcoin has helped, and obviously hurt some people.

I had no clue. Reminds me of how blind I am to much of the worlds sufferings. She has a type of SIM card with 500usd in Bitcoin on it I think it’s her life savings and she probably could have lived ok for a period of time in Togo. Here she can get 8 pounds of king crab legs and some cartons of eggs
