I saw this article which left me with more questions than answers - Bitcoin generates unrest in Kazakhstan, which seems a bit wild. Does that mean US will be the biggest mining hub?

Bitcoin is far from green as we have seen with some very public soap box denouncements from the likes of Musk & co, its for this reason I see the proof of stake cryptos like ADA as a much greener option. It's may not be that important or relevant right now as crypto is still in its infancy but as the sphere matures it will become something of a selling point.

I just read an article about a well known tech company releasing energy efficient miners. I guess the difference is quite substantial but don’t quote me in that I need to find the link. @Omegafanman Florida and Texas are in a big race to become “crypto friendly” and attract miners I think Arkansas is making some moves. Oddly my state has a new crypto company from what I’m reading they have been expanding quite rapidly but my area is far from cheap when it comes to energy I don’t know if the place set up solar and other green tech to help out.

I was mining litecoin back in the day at the time the energy use wasn’t that bad but it was more of an experiment at the time I really didn’t think it would grow like it did. Wish I stayed at it but I sold my rigs during a move. Oh well.

It would be nice to see the hash rate spread out a bit not so centralized but definitely the push is on to bring more to the US. It’s getting hard to keep up with my coworker is mining something called Harmony or Harmony1 which is much less energy intensive then converts it to ethereum or Bitcoin. I’m trying to ask him how he is making out but I think he’s trying to figure it out as he goes along. That’s exactly what I did mining litecoin and is a bit confusing at first. After a period of time you just monitor it as it does it’s thing.

Here we go again.
Accumulate, don't fall for altcoins.
Dude I got these diamond hands I’m in accumulation mode let’s see how low we go I’ve read this book before, a few times.

ETH is starting to look like a bargain and has a 6 or 7 x potential if you believe the interweb. I am going to sit a little longer before I buy again to see if it shaves another few dollars off its price. Apparently we are going to be here until February but who really knows 🍿

It could be the end, it could be the beginning or maybe it’s the end of the beginning. It’s an enigma, wrapped in a puzzle, surrounded by a mystery you gotta love stuff like that

This is basically every article on crypto ever written neatly bundled into 35 words.

Don’t be too concerned. If you believe in the tech and continues utilization and adoption in the long term things shall come to pass as they will. There was so much liquidity it seems many sectors became frothy and are getting a good shake out. I’m no oracle and I don’t know shit but I expected this to happen when I saw some of the shitcoins pumping. Look at the stock market I mean you listen to the talking heads laying out reasons for a coming recession and they make a solid case. I’m not telling you anything you don’t know but crypto has always been extremely volatile. I just stop checking the charts have a coffee. I trimmed a bit near the top (you can never find the very top nor very bottom) but it’s really looking like the bullrun is finally ending. Some projects will probably disappear but I can’t find a time (including 90% crashes) that the solid stuff didn’t come back. I know past performance is no guarantee of future results and I’m not giving any advice here. I’m also still up 100’s of % which sounds cool to say but in reality it just means had I got a lot more back in the day I’d be extremely wealthy, I am not extremely wealthy. Good thing I’m not I’d probably be a much bigger asshole than I am.

Amazing how many people won’t pass up an opportunity to sell low.

Reminds me of when my old boss used to say to me:

"You know what happens when you try to pick bottoms? You get smelly fingers"
