Hi OF, For sale is my Ardath Chronograph dated back to 1940s. Dial: 100% original two-tone salmon dial with patina, outer telemetre scale, inner spiral tachymetre scale, subsidiary dials for seconds and 30-minute register. All original blued steel hands. Case: Chrome snap back case with some wear, straight angled lugs, olive pushers. Movement: Landeron-Hahn movement that has been fully serviced by my watchmaker last month. The watch measures 37mm excluding crown, wears even better with the 20mm lugs width. The combination of salmon dial and blued steel hands is just the best combo for 1940s watches, the font used for the numerals is really nice especially on the 4 and 7. This font are commonly found in Gallet and Excelsior Park watches. I fell in love with this font when I read Ben Clymer's article about his Pete Fullerton's UG tri-compax, which is a really unusual font to be found in UG watches. The watch is sold as is for head and a brand new buttery soft brown suede NATO strap as pictured, no box or papers. Priced at REDUCED USD1,200 + shipping. Paypal or bank wire only. Thanks heaps Andre
Some wrist shots requested by a member! I've also forgotten to mention the warranty on the service that was done, there is 12 months warranty by my watchmaker.
