·**SOLD!**Listing this way low in order to move it. There's no away you'll find a Benthos 500 in this good of shape for anywhere near this price - guaranteed. A steal at $1500!
Selling some watches to fund a Speedy Pro. This one's the rare Aquastar Benthos 500 in outstanding condition. Keeps good time and hour timer functions as should. Recently began resetting a tick behind the 12 which is a common issue with these.
Easy fix for someone like Jack at IWW.
What makes this one particularly special is the co-branded Aquastar / Tissot dial. Evidently these were produced only briefly for the Australian market. Also the Bakelite bezel insert is in excellent shape. Not something that can be said for many of these and replacements are few and far between.
Had IWW replace the crystal recently, otherwise it's all original and fabulous. Looking for $1500 (obro) PayPal'd and shipped CONUS. Willing to ship internationally at cost and at my discretion. Cheers, -Patrick
