I'm a bit late getting into the omega game but better late than never as they say.

I have a 145.014 that i wear everyday that has been in the family since purchase in '73. I would like to get into a daily driver watch that i can wear swimming, golfing, working, and not worry about it.

Both watches are "seamasters" but is either one more versitile, waterproof, or awesome? I'm not picky about automatic movements versus quartz, i would just like something bulletproof and worry-free.
