I am very happy AT 38mm white dial owner. I am thinking of getting a black dial with black rubber strap.
I am wondering what is the most popular dial color for the 38, which has a more limited selection.
Thanks

Are you thinking of replacing your white dial with a black one, or are you adding black? My next watch will be an Aqua Terra 38mm, but I am having a hard time deciding on dial color. Leaning towards white dial because I it would be the most legible in various environments (ideal world I would love both white and blue, maybe in a few more years 😀 Any concerns with legibility on a blue or black sunburst dial with polished hands?

Legibility is my pet peeve of my Speedmaster FOIS. The hands disappear in certain lighting and angles.

I have the blue. Always legible.

I like the white dial very much. I went to see the blue dial at the boutique. I liked the blue color very much and I bought it. The blue dial, to me, looks nothing at all like the color portrayed on the Omega website.

I very much agree with you concerning the FOIS legibility.

I honestly think they all look stunning. Had the blue, thought the white with orange accents is better. Now I miss the blue. I guess I tend to lean over a watch I don’t have lol.

At first I was unhappy with my blue dial, as it would often look black in certain lighting.

It took a blue strap to really bring out the blue.

I would say my favorite dial is grey with blue hands and indices, but I'm not changing now.

I guess I’m the odd one out. I absolutely love the green dial and am actively saving for it. It’s not a trendy “in your face..Hulk” green. It’s subdued, changes colors in different light and very elegant. I know green is a bit of a fad right now, but I’ve always loved green dials and think the AT green dial will stand the test of time. Especially on the bracelete.

I actually like the green dial. Lovely piece. I just like the blue better
