Hey guys,thinking of selling my day date and buying a globemaster. What does everyone think?

What colour Globemaster are you considering?

 

Steel. Which is better watch do you think?

 

Which dial colour?

 

Maybe blue. Is the globe a better investment/watch?

 

Opinions are all very well but at the end of the day it is what you like, well that has always been my way of purchasing.

 

Make sure to see that Globemaster in person before you make a decision!

 

I was between an AT and the GM (Blue dial). In fact I went to the Omega boutique to purchase the AT and couldn't resist trying on the GM. It left me doubting the AT which I couldn't believe as I had researched it for about a year. Needless to say that within a few months I became a very proud owner of the GM and absolutely love it.

 

Between the two, I do like the Globemaster - though I think the Day-Date is very underrated.

(I am dreaming of the day OMEGA revives their Day-Date line and introduces a svelte 36-39mm option in stainless steel on a bracelet, perhaps with dials like in the current Aqua Terra date collection… that would be better than a Globemaster to me ☺️)
