Aqua Terra bracelet reversal

I tried to put my 3861 bracelet onto my 41mm Aqua Terra, without success. I did notice however that the inside of the AT bracelet seems to have brushed and not polished links (as the outside). I am wondering if I could reverse the bracelet. I think I would need to take of the clasp and reverse that. I am not sure if it would be possible to reverse the end links, which have some text on them. Has anyone tried this?

Why not have a watchmaker brush the entire bracelet for you if you don’t like the polished centre links? My local guy quoted me $90 to do it.

this is a much better option - any competent watchmaker can do this. I have seen people who have reversed the bracelet as you describe, and one can see the codes Omega puts on the underside of the bracelet. That’s not a very attractive look!

I can't even keep oh-mee-gah watch secret codes mezmerized, and y'all have bracelet codes too!

Got pics of what you are talking about?

I think that looks pretty good. I'm not sure I'd want to change it permanently though. Maybe I will try with another bracelet.

Maybe you should buy a new bracelet then, brush it, and have one & one just in case?

Yes but probably something cheaper than the AT bracelet, maybe an Uncle Seiko

I brushed mine, and I regret it. My advice would be: don't do it.

I doesn't look bad, but I do very much like when mine sparkles in the light...

Why do you regret it? Looks great.
It doesn't match properly with the case, in my opinion. It's not bad, and during a time I convinced myself I have done the right thing.
But shiny thick bezel (thicker than previous AT model) and other polished parts are abundant.
Maybe the right thing should be as Ed White's bracelet.

O I see. A polished outer and brushed center. I had thought about that. Now that you don’t like it… what do you plan on doing? I recently got my PCL brushed and think they did a horrible job and am trying to find someone that can do a decent job and hopefully fix it..
