Does anyone know if the latest generation AT metal bracelet will work on the previous gen AT? I think the new design has shorter lugs compared to the previous models.

I think the holes may not line up as there was a case size change from 41.5mm to 41mm..

Are you chasing the revised end link configuration or the clasp? If its just the clasp, this can be retrofitted onto the previous generation bracelets quite easily - there’s a number of posts here referencing parts numbers etc...

Here’s a retrofitted clasp. Both bracelets are previous gen AT bracelets (8500 series). Clasp on the left is the latest iteration on the 8900 series bracelets. This is the larger 41 and 41.5mm AT’s as those bracelets are 20mm end links tapering to 18mm at the clasp. The smaller size AT’s (38mm and 38.5mm) will have 19mm bracelet tapering to 17mm clasp so be mindful of which one you order.

Tell me, what’s the difference between these two clasps apart from the little bumper in the middle of the older clasp?

How the clasp secures. In the older clasp the closure mechanism is recessed into the tines where the bump is. On the new clasp, the closure mechanism is in the cap which allows the tines to be smooth and sit better against the wrist...

I own the newer 38mm AT and the bracelet is so much better than the previous one imo. As said above it has subtle changes to the clasp and the way it connects to the bracelet that make is great to wear.

Can anyone confirm this to be true?

The old 20mm bracelets will not fit the new 8900 movement 41mm case with 20mm lugs?

    Thanks!

Minor changes make sure that the parts are not interchangeable. It is the policy of omega.

Sorry mate parts are interchangeable. Omega may not support it but that doesnt mean that it can’t be done - they are 2 mutually exclusive points.

See photos above and plenty of other posts on OF around using newer clasp on older AT bracelets.

    Hi,
What's the part number for that new clasp (without the bump), 17mm wide to fit on a 19mm bracelet for the older 38.5mm AT case (8500 series) please ? The watch is 231.10.39.21.03.002 but I have no idea of the number for the newer watch with the more comfortable clasp of course. Any suggestions on where to get the clasps please?
    Thank you all so much!
