does anyone know where I might find a case for a Speedmaster 125?

Hi gents and ladies, I bought this 125 a few years ago amd had it serviced over the course of a year. Unfortunately it didnt come with the original box amd Id really like to track one down. With most watches Im not too fussed, but given this piece is special, to me at least, Id really like to give it a good home, so to speak

 

Hello, I have one box. It is green colour but I am not seling it. Can I ask where you had the watch serviced. It is running good? If yes, how accurate/24 hrs? I have one but is currently to Bienne to have it regulated. It is for the second time since the watch had full service. Many thanks!

 

The Speedmater 125 boxes are very specific to the watch, not the general fare, there was one in Germany recently without the insert and it sold for £250!! For a minter I think you would need to budget £350+

 

I had mine serviced in Adelaide, Australia and it is running wery well and keeping good time. It took almost a year but that included the wait for parts... If you would like to pm me I can tell you the name of the business

 

Crikey, thats $600-650 australian ... still would be nice to have the right cubby house for it.

A 125 with a pulsations bezel? How many of the 2000 125's came with that?

From the Chuck Maddox site: "Although these optional bezels were available options for the Speedmaster 125 while it was shipping from the factory new. In correspondence with John R. Diethelm of Omega Vintage Information he states that neither he or anyone else at the factory remembers any 125 shipping from the factory with a non-tachymetre bezel..."

 

I had read that somewhere, probably on Maddox site... wonder if another one will turn uo

 

Actually you will never now if it was originally on the watch or changed, I have seen those pulsometer glasses on sale at WatchCo several times.
