I've been wearing this bracelet on my WatchCo Seamaster 300 and aside from its classic look, I've been appreciating how comfortable it is. Because the links are smaller and not as tight as more modern bracelets, it better conforms to the wrist.

I might just have to use this bracelet and sell the 1610/8840 bracelet!

The 1171 on the same watch that I have rattles like mad. There seems no way to make the end links tight. Is there a trick to it? Thanks.

    Still loving this bracelet!

If your end links are loose, I carefully squeeze them together a bit on the outside corners, if that means anything to you?

I find that the buckle on the 1171 leaves some marks on my skin, if I rest my hand on the table (typing on pc etc). Im not crying about it because the 1171 looks so cool, but it can be annoying. Perhaps I should move around some more and get som exercise.

I'm using 735 end links on a vintage 1171---that's what it came with. Those seem to be rare on 1171's, but they work great. ofrei.com has them, but they specify only 196.xxx cases. Beats me.

For me, any bracelet or strap, tight enough to not wobble about, leaves marks in the skin. I've gotten used to it.

I've got the 633 endlinks on one 1171 and a pair of 808 on another. Both work great and I agree, it's a great bracelet, perfect balance between form and function.

Can't comment on the modern version though.

    I'm half-tempted to try the 808.

Shouldn't be too hard to locate a pair.

One thing to be aware of, is they might need some slight adjustment, depending upon your watch case.

For example, on my 66 Speedmaster, the spring bar holes are set at a slightly different height than on later Speedmasters. As such, some minor filing of the flange on the 808 is necessary, to allow the springbars to deploy. As your Seamaster has a service case, you may not need to do this. It's a five minute job either way.

I tried the 808 on my 145.012-69 case and couldn't install them. Then tried on a service case and it worked.
