A friend recently returned from a trip to Denmark where, among everything else he did, he paid a visit to an elderly retired watchmaker, and came back with a few treasures. One of which is this ‘50s vintage Omega Seamaster with caliber 344 bumper automatic movement. Face up, one might walk away from this watch, based on the rather homely, yellowed dial. But once inside........! The movement picture shows a missing whiplash spring on the balance cock, but with having serviced the movement, the watch looks a bit better. You can’t judge a book by its cover.

You have to be a few minutes early to catch them anywhere. I reckon they would always be on time to everything ;)
