...all the multitude of permanent posts that used to be above the discussion section of each sub-forum? I recall there were a few by Dennis about wristwatch basics, and possibly a few by Al on water resistance, etc.

The forum pages were becoming cluttered with stickies, some past their use by date, and the design team decided to limit stickies to two or three per forum page to provide a cleaner user interface.

The information is still there, but you now have to spend a few seconds searching for it.

This new format is awesome. The sticky’s were a lot. Prefer it this way.

The old idea of making a sticky of stickies has never been as relevant as now 😗

We cut down to 3 per topic as there were just too many for anybody to conceivably read them and many were a bit out of date like old GTGs. We’re going to go on a one in one out basis once a topic gets to three and if need be have like an information aggregator thread acting as an index where needed.

Off topic but relevant to changes; how about a watchmaking/watch repair forum?
