Looks like it went for around 62K. An interesting, unique piece for sure - but I think I'd rather have several Speedmasters than the piece of paper 馃榾

Hard to top anything that has been on the moon, especially Apollo XI.

First time I have ever seen an Armstrong signature with "Tranquility base", not to mention the size. Still, that is very strong money for that. An undedicated Armstrong signature on a white spacesuit official lithograph is usually 3500 and the most sought after. This is a surprising result.

Here's mine. Nothing like the others but pretty cool. From the world tour in Yugoslavia. (Michael Collins mentioned this dinner in Yugoslavia in his obituary for Neil Armstrong.) Would be worth a lot more if Aldrin had signed.

Really nice memorabilia Dave!
And a bummer with the missing autograph...

I wonder what watch Neil was wearing...??

Pretty sure it was a Speedmaster per these other photos. Buzz has a perfectly clear shot. This was before his watch was lost in the mail.

Here's Michael Collins' remembrance of Armstrong where he mentions this dinner:

Ps These all came from the Armstrong estate so that's extra special. Gives me goose bumps sometimes.

Armstrong's watch can be viewed in Washington DC at the Air and Space Museum:

Amazing footage, and to think that these have been handled by Neil (hopefully)!

And Washington is on my bucket list, maybe next year...

Well in that photo, we really don't know if Edwin Buzz Aldrin wore the NASA-issued n掳 43 during the Apollo 11 Goodwill tour (38 days visiting 24 countries: 29 September 1969 to 6 November 1969).
I have spoken to several Apollo astronauts and they all mentioned that by 1969 most astronauts were given 2 Omega Speedmaster chronographs, one to wear in daily life while another one was reserved for the actual mission!
The Apollo 11 crew visited Canada in December 1969 with Neil Armstrong wearing his Gold Apollo 11 tribute Speedmaster BA145.022-69 # 17
