Apollo Replica Straps

Good Evening! I recently purchased a new Speedmaster Professional (3861) as well as a Bulova Lunar Pilot and am looking to buy a replica Apollo velcro strap. There are two companies that seem to make them, Lunar Replicas and a gentleman who runs Kizzi Precision FlightGear. My question is, will the abrasive texture of the velcro damage the exhibit case-back (sapphire) of the 3861 or the commemorative casebook (metal) on the Bulova Lunar Pilot over time?
