In Japan, there are museums that have permanent exhibitions related to the Apollo Program. Here are some of the representative museums.

Cosmo Isle Hakui (Hakui City, Ishikawa Prefecture) 'コスモアイル羽咋'
Opened in 1996, this space science museum exhibits actual artifacts from the Apollo Program as well as materials from the Soviet Luna Program and other space development projects around the world. Its collection of space equipment actually used in missions is extensive, allowing visitors to learn about the history of space exploration. A large monument of the “Moonwatch,” known as the official watch of astronauts, is also on display.

Kitakyushu Science and Research Park - Space LABO (Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture) '北九州市科学館 スペースLABO'
This facility permanently displays a piece of lunar rock once exhibited at the now-closed Space World theme park in Kitakyushu. The rock was brought back by Apollo 12 and serves as a valuable resource for learning about the history of lunar exploration.

It seems that the Moonwatch of Apollo 16 astronaut John W. Young was on display.

National Museum of Nature and Science (Ueno, Tokyo) '国立科学博物館'
Samples of lunar rock brought back by Apollo 11 and Apollo 17 are on display.

Currently, at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai (running until October 13, 2025), the U.S. Pavilion is exhibiting a moon rock brought back by Apollo 17. At the 1970 Osaka Expo, it was a moon rock brought back by Apollo 12.
