Apollo 11 50th LE - can you still get one?

Hey everyone, this is my first post.
I'm looking to buy my first speedy, and first luxury watch even. There's a few older models that have caught my attention, but the new model I have taken a shining to is the Apollo XI 50th anniversary Speedmaster.
I registered my interest with a boutique and they said I would be placed on the waiting list. They don't really give much more information. Obviously if I knew I couldn't get hold of one, I would continue my hunt for another speedy. At the moment I am just waiting and it seems with the prices of dealers being around £10K, the model may have sold out? (but then why would Omega not say it has sold out).

I'm sure you experienced folk could enlighten me on the ways and workings of this stuff!
This is a great community, can't wait to join the club!

I'm sure there are plenty out there amongst grey market dealers, private sellers, and on eBay ( said in a whisper ).
Check out these links and Google search on your own... they're out there.
1. https://www.bobswatches.com/omega/o...VFQnnCh3McgEaEAQYAiABEgIw1PD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

2. https://www.chrono24.com/omega/spee...---apollo-11-50th-anniversary--id16075708.htm

3.https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OMEGA-SP...213682?hash=item1aa23f6672:g:uscAAOSwsAtd0YRm

Good luck in your search...

At this date a boutique should be able to tell you if there are any in Omega stock still for sale. They are probably sold out, but there have been a few here and there that have suddenly become available in the Omega system, so you never know. Otherwise there are a fair number still available on C24 or through other sources at various prices.

Thanks for the response all. I know I CAN get hold of one, but was hoping to get one at retail from Omega (a lot cheaper). It's purely my lack of experience shining through. I suppose it's anyones guess which way the prices go from here. I doubt I'll ever be a collector because i'm not loaded with $$ but I want to make my first watch special.
Just for info, I was born in '89 so was eyeing a 3590.50.00 from that year. But then I also quite like the 311.33.42.50.01.001 (1957 50th anniversary speedy). Quite a scatter gun approach to preferences, how do you decide?

I don't even own a speedy and yet i've become so engrossed into the history and the detail that goes into every model. I'm an RAF rw pilot so I really feel a connection to the speed master background, it's a beautiful thing!

I did call them before this, and they said it had sold unfortunately.

Thanks for the help everyone. After much consideration, I have gone in a slightly different direction 😀
