Looking for thoughts and experiences. I get the argument for the 15202 - 39mm, thinner, truer to the original...but if you can get the 15400 for significantly less, is the difference in size that noticeable and important?

Trying to see if I should continue to build up funds or go for the 15400. Anyone gone through this and have thoughts?

I would go for the 15202. It's the classic Jumbo.

jumbo....unless you can't live without a second hand. Have you had the opportunity to "test drive" them on your wrist? They do fit and feel quite different. Good luck in your quest....I am envious.

I suggest also trying on a 14790 as well. You'll find there isn't that much difference in size between the 36 and 39mm.

Happened to me last year. But I went with what was available. I was wait listed on both. 15202 with a Singapore AD and 15400 with a Hong Kong AD. It was Hong Kong AD which called first.

Tried on the 15400 and it is stunning. Going to see what it will take to get the 15202 - the size and the detail on the oscillating weight might just be about the most perfect watch for me. Will see how long and how hard I have to work to get one :). Appreciate the thoughts everyone.

Thanks to those that pointed me to the 15202. Unquestionably the right decision for me.

Congrats! Maybe not the worst choice in my watch world (but darn close) was owning a 15202 and letting it go.... IMG_0652.JPG

I like a seconds hand on my watches, so 15400 for me. But congrats on the 15202!

I'd go for the 15400 due to the second hand. But honestly, both references are absolute beautiful watches worth owning!
    So congrats!
