As the sun starts to rise on the east coast, today marks our country's remembrance of our servicemen and women, some of whom paid the supreme sacrifice.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them. Lest we forget

Indeed, the sacrifice service members have made through the years are greater than I can comprehend. I highly recommend the Gallipoli mini-series. It is heartbreaking, but so well made. It tells an important piece of history. I believe the Dardanelles campaign is where the acronym ANZAC was first used.

My naive wish is that wars will no longer be necessary so that no human being ever has to endure such horrors.
