Had my eye on a Seamaster for a while. This popped up.

First off I noticed in one image he has a card with a ref and calibre no that don't seem to fit. The ref is from a "The Legend" limited edition speedmaster.

I'm wondering if I'm missing something or this is in fact correct? I'm new to Omegas and looking to purchase my first.

    Thanks for the help!

Well, to begin with, it's a complete fake.

…Wait a second, I might be wrong. There's a quartz version that looks just like it - just can't find any photos of the rear to verify.

Ha that's good to know. How can you tell? (being a complete newbie here)

If it is indeed a quartz version I'm going to pass. I'm looking an automatic.

It is a quartz - but it's legit, it would seem :)

Being that it's quartz doesn't make it that good of a deal - they go about the same for more reputable sources.

Hmmm... the plot thickens. The Ref. No. on the supposed pictogram card shown in the e-Bay listing is for a Schumacher Speedmaster (a type of chronograph) and the caliber 3301 movement indicated on the pictogram card is a chronograph movement. The watch shown in the listing is definitely not a chronograph.

Probably just a mistake. Wouldn't be the first time a wrong warranty card ended up in a different box. I'd say the watch is authentic, but not that attractive.

    Yes, that's certainly a possibility.

Thanks - this is what I was referring to.
