That 2655xxxx serial number is outside the range of a 105.003-65

Lol, professional dial, square chrono hand, incorrect serial. GUYS! I think it's a prototype!

That is the most original 105.003 I have ever seen. It's like I was transported back to 1965!

I think the movement and dial come from a 145012.

"The lack of crown-guards and "professional" markings on the dial, along with the stright lugs are three attributes these super-Speedies all have."

"There are Speedmasters and then there are Speedmasters. An automatic Speedmaster is pretty solid. A manually wound Speedmaster Professional is solid. A manually wound Speedmaster Professional with a 321 Caliber in it is really solid. A manually wound Speedmaster PRE-Professional with 321 caliber, straight lugs and no crown guards dating to 1965 is borderline epic. "

"There are Speedmasters and then there are Speedmasters. An automatic Speedmaster can be pretty solid and reliable, depending on the caliber. A manually wound Speedmaster Professional is solid. A manually wound Speedmaster Professional with a 321 Caliber in it is less solid than a caliber 861 but it was worn on the Moon. A manually wound Speedmaster PRE-Professional with 321 caliber, straight lugs and no crown guards dating to 1965 has never been worn on the Moon and is less solid and much less weatherproof than a Speedmaster Professional."
