    Hello!!

    I have this 37 mm UG from 1941, the reference number is 22426 with a 287 movement. Lugs are facetted and the edges are fairly sharp. The case is steel. As for many others in this forum, the dial is difficult to judge for a non expert like me. The 6 looks somewhat odd, so an early redial could be possible. The "Compur" is missing but I don't believe that is proving a redial. Has anybody seen this dial beofore? You're comments are very much appreciated - thanks!

    Maybe I have to mention: I bought this watch from a serious watch maker in Zurich - with 2 years warranty. I didn't have any UG knowledge when I bought it, I just had to have it - I'm sure every watch enthusiast knows what I mean..... Thank you for your posts!

    Open the pic and have a close look at the subdials, the different kinds of 3s....

    The fonts, the two tone dial, no "uni compax" text
    Also wrongs pushers, wrong crown ...

    +1 for redial. The minute recorder subdial is badly off-centre, the heavy inking, different fonts for the 3s, the weird 6 you mentioned.

    It's a redial, sadly. But hey, you loved the watch before, might as well continue to love it, enjoy it, and wear it!

    I love this, but I wish you'd stop posting it. Every time you do, I find myself butting heads with disappointment as I scour the interwebs for anything similar, only to find versions that aren't nearly as nice as yours and are still way beyond my budget.

    @DonFretz ...it’s an attractive watch but sadly it is a redial and possibly put together watch. If you didn’t pay to much just enjoy it.

    Quite right a redial ... but not a repugnant redial. Looks like whoever did it, took time and attempted to make a good job of it.

    Thanks to everybody, this confirms my suspicions….. I almost thought a stainless, mint, 77 year old dial is maybe a little bit unusual ;)

    @x3no: I'll strictly follow your advice :)
