    The lume looks a little fuzzy close-up. Can someone more knowledgeable on the matter comment on whether or not this is likely to be a re-lume?

    At 4850usd, I'd say he just about does.
    Looks good from the photos but certainly expensive.

    I'm such an idiot I thought 4850.00 was a reference number he was willing to trade for....lsimilar to the 1680!

    More similar to a 5513 than 1680. But where do you find 1680's in this condition for $4850?

    And where do you buy 165.024's that look this good for less than $4500...most on the market look like crap or are pieced together. This also has an original bracelet. You rarely see nice ones for sale anymore.

    Stupid me didn´t buy a beautiful example of a 165.024 with very similar patina to the OP´s watch about 2 years ago, We were haggling around the €2200 mark and I didn´t want to pay more than €2000 so left it....

    ....hindsight, isn´t it a wonderful thing? :rolleyes:
