Yes, it's the office of the Special Hospital where I have to attend regularly. They say there is no cure...
I'm home now and the treatment was a success. The polish went well, the plexi looks so clear and the tritium hands are now fitted to my sm300! As good a match as I could of hoped for . This just makes me more determined to find the tritium bezel it deserves. PLEASE HELP ME. 'Top dollar awaits' as someone once said. Also picked up my little 105005 Seamaster. All in all a good Monday so far .
Thanks @dx009 They are original tritium hands, sourced in Greece along with a 166024 dial. All courtesy of @Fost who I must thank again!
Ha thanks... it's a small Tumi-Tech bag, its only 6x8 inches. Handy for carrying small things about...watches, cash, drugs, weapons etc .
Did you meet with Simon Freese? I have spoken with him many times but being based 200 miles away means all my dealings with STS are via RMSD.
I did yes... he's the guy you need to be speaking with. Been there several times now and can't recommend his work enough!
The stuff I submit is much less challenging or interesting than yours (mostly 80s to 2000s stuff) but they never fail to impress with their professionalism. Their refurb dept can perform miracles. If and when I do end up with something with patina needing preserving or enhancing it will be here I will send it.
Yep agree.... if you're ever nearer it's well worth a visit. The work shop is pretty impressive to say the least.
That's a beauty! The hands match perfectly as expected! Now you need to find this bezel!! good luck and keep us posted when you will find it!
