Seems like it went for a decent price even with the case being polished. The auction might have been hurt by the fact that it ended at 12:30am ET. Netting just under $2600 (after fees) seems a bit rough for a fair -71.

 

Well it has incorrect hands, green lume and fuzzy print bezel.

Apart form hands it’s all correct but you can’t get away from that lume Colour.

Bringing it up to a nice standard will be the cost of new hands and adjusting them if required to fit the look of the watch, and I would think a service.

But at the end of the day you still have to look at unattractive lume and bezel.

So cheap, but with incorrigible aesthetic issues

Agree that the green lume is not particularly attractive to my eye, but this seems to have become more and more generally accepted of late. Totally missed the hands issue but I see now the minute hand especially looks short. Thanks for the info

 

Photos please I am working my way through the OF’s Longines forum from day 1 to present. So many older posts without photos, a real loss in learning opportunity. Photos make the post a great resource long after the eBay post is gone
