hi all, I was interested in seeing some home photos of the Aqua Terra with green and orange numbers. Anyone own this and have some pics? Is it versatile enough to be worn with everything or do you find the colors clash with certain color clothes, forcing you to switch to another watch?
I think it looks awesome, just fear versatility. Being in a suit everyday, I don't want to think about what watch I toss on in the morning vs wearing a purple tie for example...
I love this piece, if I had to find fault it would be the high refection it suffers from in bright conditions, so much so that you rarely pick up the planking on the dial.
This is where you are going wrong - the order in which you dress. First step is to chose the watch you are going to wear that day, then decide which suit to wear to go with the strap colour. Next, select a shirt to compliment the colour of the dial or to blend the dial colour into that of the suit. Cufflinks should either match or contrast the dial colour. The belt should be the same colour as the watch strap. Now select the tie. This should be the easy part because you have already matched/blended the other colours.
Agreed with everyone else. Seeing the watch in macro mode those details stand out, in person it's more like stitching. Great watch
I have never in my life matched my watch to the rest of what I'm wearing. Now, having said that, I mostly wear watches with bracelets... but I've worn watches with brown straps when the rest of the ensemble has no brown in it. Tom
You're right, and I get your point. But I like versatility amongst watches. That said, being I'm in a suit and tie during the day and jeans and t-shirt at night. Never had a watch with slight color accents before.
Looks so much better all brushed. Didn't realize a PO bracelet would fit. No one here in the forum owns the green one huh?
