Anyone order the Apollo 11 Nike sneaker today to go with their Speedy?

They just dropped and I don’t think they are a huge collector item, so it was easy to get them. I also got a pair for my son in kids size.

I didn't pick up the Apollo 11 shoes but when Omega failed to release the Gemini IV 50th anniversary watch in 2015, which might come out tomorrow, I opted to settle for these LE Gemini IV Timberland boots.

Is there any NASA/Apollo branding on those Nikes? They just look like regular white sneakers.

They are silver. They are a Paul George PE(Player sedition). Nike swoosh on the lateral side.

Very subtle. I can appreciate that, but a more "in your face" NASA logo is more to my taste. I might look at a pair of the Vans SK8-Hi.

No, but I was able to order this after the Victorinox site crashed for 3 hours yesterday. Only 1969 pieces, and it appears they might have some left if anyone is interested.

I’m actually not a sneaker head (tho I did score the Travis Scott OG1 a couple months ago) and more of a space fan. Just got my son’s pair which he’s ecstatic about and we are going to go watch the IMAX Apollo 11 documentary today.

Markings on the PG3 are subtle, but my son loves the Apollo 11 patch and writing on the heel. I was considering returning the shoes, but my son wants them and the PG3 is pretty comfortable. Since they aren’t collectible, we can just wear them and also not wear the red tag on them, haha.
