My mother gave me this watch recently, it was supposedly my great grandmother's? It looks really really old and doesn't work at the moment but I am trying to figure out exactly what it is and if there is any value to it? I am sure it is worth something due to the fact that the bracelet is stamped 18K gold but not sure if it is worth more with the timepiece or just the raw material, hoping someone associated with this forum can help me out? Hate to say it but my best guess would probably be scrap value for gold content, theres not a big market for something like that among collectors.
Take it to a jeweler and have it tested to see if it really is solid 18ct gold. A couple shots of the caseback (inside and out) and of the movement would be great.
