    Hi,
Anybody has experience with fabsuisse in eBay?
I just won an auction 18 hours ago (thanks to Gixen) for an Omega flightmaster. He only give 48 hours to pay. The problem is I already tried to contact several times after auction with no answer. Probably there is time difference problem, but it makes me uncomfortable.
Since this is my first significant purchase on eBay, should I just pay with Paypal (with its double protection) or should I wait until he communicates with me?

    Thanks guys,
    Herianto, Jakarta

I bought my Centenary 2500 from him. I think his name is Gregg. No problems at all.

48hrs is pretty standard. There's so many buyers that back out of auctions these days. From the sellers point of view, many of the guys that end up as non-paying bidders start off by "needing a few days to arrange such and such...".

Fabsuisse(Gregg) is also on the "ΩF Unanimously favorite Ebay sellers list"

Sorry, I only just noticed this thread :)

    No problem Trev.
This is my first significant eBay purchase. Buying experience from Forum Sales in this forum is waaayyy better than eBay.
However Ebay offering scale is just unbelievable.

Awesome. Be sure to post photos when it arrives :)

Are you still in Indonesia? If so, I hope the watch gets through customs quickly (and cheaply).

Yeah, I've heard it's pretty bad.

You should try to find some ΩF members in Western Australia. Perhaps someone vacationing in Bali could bring over your next purchase? I wonder... Would the trip to pick it up + beers in Ubud be cheaper or more expensive than Indonesian customs for you? :D

Yeah, it's such a short flight from Perth to Bali. There's tons of Australians there. It's just a shame so many fit the fat/obnoxious/Bintang singlet-wearing stereotype.

I'd definitely nominate Ubud for an ΩF GTG. Hire out some villas and have Babi Guling for the first dinner.

Are we going to have 2 or 3 GTG's annually? Regardless one should definitely be a staff retreat
