Anyone know early Seikos?

I was browsing for something else, and came across this vintage S Seiko from what the seller believes is the early 50s. Only 31 mm, but I was considering that a military type bund style strap in leather might really up the presence of the watch in a sort of old fashioned way. Pics below, no movement pics available though.

Anyone have any thoughts on it? Advice? I have some vintage Seikos, but nothing this early.

I'm no expert, but I'm wondering if it is a redial. The hour markers on the track don't seem to match the batons (especially around the 4 o'clock mark), and it just looks weird to have the hour and minute hand poke just beyond the track like that.

The hands are definitely wrong. They appear to be out of a later watch, Seiko Crown(not the chrono) comes to mind as to the source. I noticed the possible redial too, but I don't even know what model this is to help more.
Op also needs to provide better pictures. I'm no expert either but a movement pic would definitely help.
Edit: Forgot to say the lugs are rather thin and that I would just stay away from this. What's up with the blue(or grey?) ring on the dial?

Really interesting Seiko from the early 50s; original dial IMO but not the hands.

The hands look like these from the Unique and Skyliner again from the 50s but with 17 and 21 jewel Diashock movement, so maybe they were used in Supers and 15 jewel Nivaplex movement too? Can't say for sure, you definitely have to see movement pics too.

I'd thought from the title you meant the WW2 and earlier Seikosha

Pre 1950's I suspect these were representative of Seiko's work.
I've seen images of a few WW2 era civilian Seikos as well. They seem to have a strong heirloom status.

Did the Japanese import Omega watches and/or movements before WW2?
