    Hi,

I have just received a vintage Omega for my Birthday. I have taken the back off, and typed the number - 111.077 into the Omega database but this doesn't show anything. There is a 111.0077 but this doesn't correspond to my watch. Here are some pictures (apologies for quality, I only have my phone on me):-

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, as I would like to find out the model and age. I am guessing it is an early 60's model and gold plating? It has a manual winding movement.

    Thanks in advance!

    Sam

It is a de ville ref 111.0077 with a cal.620 movement, created in 1962 with 17 jewels

    Hi Simon,
Thanks for your comment. I did look at that on the omega database but mine has a gold coloured dial and and looks to be gold plated rather than steel?
Is that therefore the same watch?
Sorry if I am being silly, I don't know a lot about vintage watches.
    Thanks
    Sam

The Omega Database does not always describe all variations that were available

Not a silly question at all.
