Probably a long shot, but if any of you ultra deep owners could post a wrist shot of the UD next to an SMP that would be great.

Or just side by side if on wrist won't work. Just trying to get some idea of the height difference between the two.

3mm or so, but thats not always easy to visualize.

I know I just need to go see one in person, but the closest physical store with an omega in it is 3.5 hours away and even then I'm not certain they would have an UD. Yes I realize I live out in the middle of nowhere...and I love it.

I don't have my SMP here at the moment. So I took photos of the Ultra Deep and the Seamaster 300 (41mm).
Maybe this helps to give you a first impression (my wrist size is 18,5cm).
I can provide you shots with the SMP next week.

That 3rd photo really accentuates the difference.

Thanks I really appreciate the photos....still thinking about it...when I first got into watches I bought and returned an Invicta Subaqua noma that I believe was also 18mm in height. I don't recall the watch being too tall, but when I saw it in person the amount of gold on that thing was just garish to me.

The last picture makes the 300 look downright dainty – and I remember thinking it looked and wore like a tuna can when I owned one.
