I’m looking for a crystal for case ref 2495. It’s my understanding it’s Omega part 062PN1043 which I believe has a diameter of 30.35 mm with height 3.4mm. I’ve scoured the internet trying to find one to no avail. I know one can find a generic crystal with that diameter. However the concern being ensuring the tension ring fits properly. Suggestions?

Did you find one? I might need one for my 2652 as well.

I researched this a little bit and noticed that this crystal is also used on the Centenary (Ref. 2500) and the initial Constellation (Ref. 2648). Both of these watches were produced before Omega began regularly signing crystals in the early 1950’s.

The replacement you would get from Omega would be signed. Unless your watchmaker has a parts account with Omega, they may not be able to get a correct signed replacement.

If you go generic, it is likely that your watch will look as it did when new.

    Hope this helps,

The 2652 crystals are totally different than the 2648's. For one thing the diameter of the crystal is a bit less.

The part numbers for those are dependent on whether you need a silver or gold retaining ring.
    63PX5000 - Gold
    63PZ5000 - Silver

These are generally available on eBay or from other suppliers.

I forgot to say thanks for your help! The next problem is to source non-goldfish-bowl crystals. I prefer shallow generic crystals to insanely tall Omega crystals.
