Anyone else annoyed by their Moonwatch branding them?

This is my absolute favorite watch from the Omega camp but it keeps giving me a tramp stamp or whatever the watch equivalent or a hickie is. None of my other watches do this.

    - I tried adding a link and letting it sit looser but the same thing happens (albeit less deep of an imprint)
    - Tried the sapphire sandwich but it's too top-heavy
    - Can't really find stock of a 3572.50 at a reasonable price so can't comment on that
    - Dark Side of the Moon is too big and leather strap is delicate (not water resistant)

Any solutions to this or am I being too sassy? Thr only real solution I can see is to wait for my Speedy 60th to come in either this or next month then flip this Speedy.

Pic of imprint when the watch is worn loosely (I can easily slip 3 fingers between my wrist and clasp) :

You could put a sticker on it. There are protective stickers on eBay and I recently saw a suggestion to put the soft piece of a two piece Velcro pad onto the back (that particular suggestion was to help with a slightly loose bracelet, but would work in your case as well.

As an Australian my skin is far less soft than yours so it isn't a problem, in fact after I die my hide could probably be use to make a series of limited edition watch straps its that tough. :coffee:

You could just go ahead and get the caseback design tattooed onto your wrist. Then the imprint wouldn't even be noticeable. :)

If you have a favoured style, get your skin tattooed now.

I think the reason it doesn't happen to most is that they have hair acting as a cushion - you obviously do not.

Try a pocket watch! Are you short of things to worry about?

When's the last time you guys saw an Asian with a hairy arm? My legs are like a forest though. Blame genetics.

I get an imprint all the time but it doesn't worry me one bit, and it disappears within a few minutes. A clear sticker would definitely mitigate the imprint on your "Princess and the Pea" wrist skin, and also wearing the watch on something other than the heavy bracelet should help as well. Other casebacks are much worse than the Speedy Pro, just be grateful you're not rocking the FOIS or a Dan Henry....

Very selective reading. Count of solutions are:

    1. Sticker or soft pad = 1
    2. Toughen skin = 1
    3. Grind case back down = 1
    4. Get a tattoo = 1
    5. Grow hair = 2 (maybe 3)
    6. Loosen bracelet = 1
    7. Wear a different watch = 2

Perhaps you are a bit sensitive about something?

The solution = full arm tattoo, you won't even notice the caseback mark ;) worked for me.

    try nato strap?
The nato stap would go between the case back and your skin
