    Funny looking thing, isn't it?

Looks like the love child of the "C" case Ref 168.019 and one of the integrated bracelet models from a few years later.

Take it to a watchmaker and get the reference number from the inside of the caseback.

Then we'll have something to work with.

Unusual, I've never seen one before.

My guess is a custom made or even a South American made case.

Only inside evidence will clear the muddy waters.

Here is the photo of the back. It was bought in Spain in the late sixties. Any idea? What do you mean with custom made case? Was ir common? I have taken It already to jeweler for cleaning and changing the glass and I dont plan to bring It again. Could i open It myself or better not to?

It certainly looks like a legitimate Omega model, but no one has seen one quite like that before.

It could be that a jeweler made the integrated case and bracelet combination specifically for a customer. Then again, Omega was known to sometimes make models specifically for certain regional markets.

So we really don't know what it is without more information. That can only be found inside the case.

It's up to you if you want to bring it back to the watchmaker. I would not recommend doing this yourself unless you have the proper tools and know how to use them.

Unless you have one of these, and know how to use it, it would be too risky.

    CO1.JPG

Gold is very soft compared to stainless steel and one slip could damage the look and value of your watch, even using the common hand held Jaxa wrench like this one on a watch like yours is tempting fate.

(and there's a little "not quite right" in that pic, any detectives?)

Is there any engraving on the back of the bracelet's clasp? Can you post a picture?
