A bit polished, but nice shape overall and recently serviced. The main plate probably inadvertently got switched out for some reason. I'd have gone for the BIN price at $1700 if it hadn't. http://www.ebay.com/itm/251698479386Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Turns out a watchmaker/dealer bought it for flipping. He doesn't really care if it's a 352, 353 or 354: http://www.ebay.com/itm/131348231215Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
333 is 30.1mm in size. The 343 would be the same size 28.1mm as the 352, but doesn't have the RG regulator and 4 would look different from 5.
Tim Mackrain really does know better than this, it can't be a 353 (which is the first date at six). So something is very wrong here The first seller is quite clear about the number stamped on the movement. It's definitely not a 333, the rotor on that looks very different (two facets between top and side).
Not a good example even at the lower price Tim purchased it for - overpolished case, aged dial and the movement issue. And at its present price, it's not one to consider at all.
Indeed. Looks like Tim's wand was a 352-1001 barrel bridge which he just happened to have at the back of his workbench
Yep, that's how he makes . Seems someone negotiated a best offer of $2800 for it a few days ago then ran away from it.
