Posted in another post i mentioned that i was a Butcher at one time. When i first left school due to father being a butcher and those where the days when that was the norm... Moved on a-lot from there but the trade was a good start. Good to see what tradesmen we have on the Forum if anyone ever needs advice or help.
I was a concrete batch plant operator, certified by the State of Florida to design and mix concrete used in the construction of State highways and bridges. (My dad owned a company that built bridges.) Yes, concrete mixes have to be designed.

Back in High School I worked in a print shop, during the summers, on Varick St. in NYC. I worked primarily in the bindery operating Muller Martini saddle wire stitchers and Hiedelburg folding machines and cutters. It was quite an experience and at some point I remember I had to join the union. This was back in the late seventies, long, long ago.
Still dealing fresh-smoked-and frozen fish. Got the knowledge from my father. Later on my brother and I took over his company. Already spent 25 years "im Fisch" and have about 20 years left. ( depends on the money I am going to spent on watches)
