Any Tissot T Touch lovers here ?

I am picking up a Tissot T Touch Expert Solar this coming weekend to gift. I have a Casio Protrek for myself that has all these sensors and is solar chargeable at 1/3rd price. However since I have seen this, I want one for myself too. Looks like a pretty nice casual watch. I just wanted to see if this particular watch gets any love here on OF. After all lot of you guys want gshocks so I thought what's harm in asking 😀

My first expensive watch was a T-Touch back in 2004. Completely blew my mind back then and I have been tempted to get one many, many times since then (it was stolen while only a few months old). However, since I would use it as a tactical watch, I looked at what reviews it got for that application and the consensus seems to be that it is, if not downright fragile, then at least not particularly sturdy.

Seeing the hands dance around and form the compass needle really caught my imagination 😀
