273632694464 bids went to 6xx$ within an hour and then the seller cancelled all the bids looks like a lovely piece.
Agree it is very beautiful indeed. I'd love to know who's the imbecile who made the lowest offer, at $200. Or maybe I don't, actually. I wonder whether there is a limit to how low people will stoop to for watches.
I was one of the bidders before he ended the auction. I contacted the seller after he ended the auction. He told me that he got $6500 offer. Not sure if sold at that price. Nice watch for that price IMHO.
I emailed him earlier today and wondered what happened to the watch. He said he decided to keep it ...
Keep it?! This is how I feel looking at vintage watches on Instagram. You see all these beautiful, original pieces that no one will ever sell, just brag about. A new crystal, clean out some of the crud, and replace that awful stretchy bracelet with a leather strap or Bonklip bracelet, and this would be a great piece.
Two nice tre tacches for sale on Instagram right now. One 35mm, one 30mm. Of course tre tacches rarely come as bargains these days.
