I had an early (1948) Seamaster automatic with the same dial. This seems to be a nice one, but don't go too high. The dial is a bit weathered and the hands skeletonized. But at least it looks original.
This is the non-military version of this watch, Ref. 2179. Adam and I both own an example of this one. Note that it has the same hands. I think replacements might be avaliable at Jules Borel. The eBay one looks all original, but condition is not great and the price was very high for what it is. Take care, gatorcpa
