Just picked up mine yesterday at local OB. None of the AD in the area has it in stock. OB claimed that was the only one left. I noticed the bezel has a little play to it. It's not really loose but definitely not solid like my PO. Is yours like this?

My bezel is fine. If you can’t work out how to use it maybe give it back.

It’s called a count down bezel (CD) and was popular on the original 2913 SM300. The purpose of the CD bezel is to easily allow you to know how much time before you run out of air during your dive.

Edit: An intact original CD bezel is the hardest of all early SM300 bezels to source.

Turned out the original 2913 also has the CD bezel.

Present! Mine has no issue and love the uniqueness of the countdown bezel.

should I take it back to OB? It’s the only one in store. I won’t be able to exchange it. If it’s quality issue would they send it to service center?

Mine has nothing noticeably wrong with the bezel, so it might be worth bringing back in and having it serviced (if they think it necessary)

There are a lot of these watches still unsold, so if you have to return it it won't be very long to find another one.
