Recently acquired this ancient artifact which grants me directorial powers, any requests for the betterment of the brand?

I'm going to make them sell wear and tear parts like crystals, gaskets and crowns to anyone. While I'm at it, looking for other ideas

Stop issuing 50 different Speedmasters a year

Enough of this 50 shades of Seamaster 300 Heritage, but with a modern twist bullshit and just bring back the 16X.024 which is the one everyone wants anyway.

Give us a Constellation that is worthy of the name please.

Bring back the 36mm 3-handed sport watch. Not 38, not 37, not 36.5…just 36mm. Anyone who says nobody wants watches that small anymore should go talk to Rolex- they don’t seem to have a problem selling them.

Increase the number of ADs in smaller, less wealthy markets.

50% discount for OF members on new products and priority position
Can do a 15% discount if you come to the AD with your vintage

Please give us a 1:1 remake of the SM 300.
Consider it done!

I'll do a 30 / 20 Speedmaster / Constellation split, churn some limited edition Constellations

Increase the number of ADs in smaller, less wealthy markets.
I will add a small Omega display to every Swatch boutique, not many watches, but the populars and the occasional rare watch for that walk in excitement

That’s funny, I put it into Google translate and it came back with “Suck it, Rolex”

👍Let us agree on 38 AND 36 mm . With crown-guard, black or white dial, hand-wound, no date and max. 9mm height please, Raynald.

I'm going to write about something that you all probably have no interest in.

This is a decorative plate, likely made of Takaoka Copperware, produced in the area around Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, Japan.

There are a few novelty plates with the same design but different company names listed on Yahoo! Auctions.

By the way, the box says '皿' and '美術鋳物' and the text on the bottom of the plate reads '日々是好日'.

Link to the Japanese Wikipedia page for '日々是好日'.

If you are interested in Takaoka copperware, please refer to link.

Thank you mountainunder! Awesome as always! I've been wondering this quite a bit.

And I guess with this information my short journey into corporate life ends. I don't know what Google Translate was smoking that day but it was definitely something fun 😀

Please message me @mountainunder if you learn more about these "Ashtrays" or plates, until then I will keep a note in the box indicating it's likely Takaoka Copperware

Yes please 👍 A "Fieldmaster" dirty-dozen inspired watch, at a ridiculous low price. Could be solar or battery powered too.

Oh yeah, powerful lume as well.

Thanks Kaplan,

As you said:

As vintage Omega enthusiasts we pay very high prices for the parts to rectify and keep our watches correct. The only people who benefit from that are probably the dealers who have stockpiled these items. I would like to see your mission statement extended to include good quality crystals, pushers, bezels, crowns and hands too. Not replicas however but made to same specification and quality as the originals. E.g. I had to pay GBP320 for a pair of Ed White Pushers.

I suspect that the Board will try to maintain rarity through shutting off supply.
