Whether you love or hate them Tag Heuer mech watches are great value and have the looks . I confess I’m a Omega fan first followed by Rolex , then Tudor, Longines and have always preferred a vintage watch to the new large brash skelitor style that many company push out these days. But today I bought my 3rd TAG and first Carrera. It’s a simple watch on the face of it . Ticks my box for my love of sub dials and heritage. What attracted me was it’s relative plain unassuming style , 39mm face, blue, red and silver dial finish, 6 o’clock date window, sub dial, simplistic hands and index markers and it’s respect to the Heuer heritage of the 60’s on its lugs, perforated leather strap and logos. OK also the price after all we all want a deal don’t we . My final drool is it’s folding clasp and easy strap adjustment. Oh and like most Tags a simple but suitable box A291D799-7485-4E65-9301-C87A6BFC0084.jpeg . I believe it will be a vintage classic of the future for my grandson. I hope you enjoy it as much as I’m sure I will !

I've always liked Carreras. Having owned many TAGs over the years, I'm really impressed with the Autavia and how good their in house movement is.

Im a big fan of their vintage-ish auto divers (1000 series and 180.123) and their Heuer reissues are sharp.

Absolutely beautiful watch! I love the elegant and clean simplicity of its design, and the size is just perfect. Congratulations!
For many years, TAG was my favourite brand as my first "luxury" watch was a TAG. Lately, however, they refocus their marketing approach and I don't agree with what they are doing nowadays.
Congratulations again on the watch. It's very classy and elegant.

    That's really lovely.
    Simple but we'll executed.

I've been keeping an eye on the cs3111 reissues, one sold for about €2000 the other day, about 1/3rd less than the regular listing prices, should've nabbed it!!

I used to own tag heuer carrera but end up selling them all simply bcoz it doesn’t do much for me. Im one step away from pulling the trigger on one of those carrera but end up getting my first crown. Its nice simple classic piece indeed.

Have 2 TAGs. Do like this one (but) the CAL.6 annoys the hell out of me.

Do like the twin time simpleness they started to take but going back to having to have the cal # again ::censored::

Look at any water resistance chart and 5atm is suitable for everyday use and bathing, but NOT for swimming.
I wouldn’t swim with any watch without a screw down crown and this model doesn’t have that.

    The charts are industry standard.
