If you're talking about subscriptions where you keep the watches you get, sensibly it is easy to realize that you are getting less than what you pay for, so I can't see it as a good value. In my view, your now paying for a watch + the company's overheads and profits in exchange for less options or choice. I assume there are probably watch subscriptions that send you nicer watches, which you wear for a month and return. This is more of a recurring rental rather than anything else.
In either case, If it's you're cup of tea, go for it. I of course can't see the value in it, as there's no way to actually get what you're paying for. For myself, there's a personal connection with my watches knowing where i've been/what i've done or accomplished with my watch. I wouldn't have that (or good watches, in most cases) with a subscription. Do what makes you happy, but it wouldn't make me happy. Cheers
