This reference is dedicated to the 50-th anniversary and the run is of 1957 pcs, obviously why. It is not easy to find any info concerning this piece plus there are a few editions of speedmasters dedicated to the 50th anniversary. Does anyone know the story behind this particular reference? I found out something quite odd unless it is a print out mistake of course. When the watch was released it had a retail price around 3700 eur and just an year later it was increased to almost 9000 eur.

Lots of people out here. You asked a very specific question though, so maybe no one knows a story other then it was a 50th Anniversary?

I see both Oddboy and Ree remarked the reference has an enamel dial. The same is underlined in the link to Fratello. I just check the used-to-exist reference on the webpage of Omega and there no hint of it. Are you sure it has an enamel dial, might be you are mislead by the article in Fratello?

It's kind of a black sheep in the Speedmaster family. It looks like a pro but has a different movement. My guess is that it is a 3313 movement without the rotor or something similar.

I wouldn't look at one that did not have full papers and the unique box and tool set.

    Yes, I'm sure...

    DIAL EMAIL BLACK CAL. 3201

It's a manual wind version yes. It's a little more than just removing the rotor, but the same idea.

    Cheers, Al

I have a steel and a rose gold one, really pretty watches and the 3201 with coaxial escape and column wheel is a beauty to behold. Not sure if Omega ever made a bigger box, those alone a worth owning one. And yes, you definitely want the complete set.

Found two still in the network of OB. Plus a white gold one limited in 57 pcs. Which means price is prohibitive. If you are able to find a watch LE From 2007 still in the network....

I own that very watch in the article.

The dial is stunning in the flesh and such a cool watch with all the bits!
