    Got a pair of them.

    IMG_0966.JPG

The one on the left is a 8 Days cal. 59 8-D that originally have been mounted in the dashboard on a bus or truck, dates to around 1947. I got it serviced an had a stand made in wood and it is now in daily use on my desk.

The one on the right is a 8 Days cal. 110/59 8-D from the Swedish marine, stamp with the three crowns and an inventory number. This number the SWEDISH NATIONAL MARITIME MUSEUMS could provide the information that this clock was bought from A/S Rob Engström for 139,75 SEK and was used on the minesweeper HMS Iggö M60, the serial dates it to around 1948/49 sold some years later. Just got it serviced an now hanging on my wall :)

Would like to se your Omega 8 Days :)

The eccentric jewel on the escape wheel is what causes the seconds hand to advance in one-second increments.

Do yours have Military markings? Mine was last used on a Swedish Minesweeper M60 Iggö

I contacted the Swedish Marine Museum, and the tree crowns and the unique number 301 they could look up in the inventory list from back then.
