Found amongst my late father's stuff... No idea age, he wore an Omega for the latter part of his life so must be 70s or earlier? I could be completely wrong of course, but wondered. It seems to have even come to life with a shake too, but definitely not been worn for many decades.

An Admiral from the 70s I'd say.

Coming from your father, it would be a nice watch to wear, surely could benefit of a service.

Not the best lighting in the picture, but the case seems quite rough, it would be interesting to see it under natural light.

Nice one, thanks Les, I will get some proper images of it in the next few days, it's at my Mum's and I'll post them when I get it. Strap was a weird one, it has the Longines wings on the buckle, but I'm sure it had 'Rolex' embossed into the leather on back of strap, and that would have to have been done a very very long time ago. I'm sure he's not worn it in more than 40 years.

With a strap tool the buckle is easy to remove. The buckle stays with the watch, not the strap.
