Do any of you have any news about caliber 321? Are there any delivered, platinum or steel?
My dealer here in Germany, as he told me, will probably have one delivered at the end of 2021 at the earliest.

Greetings from Germany, and stay safe and healthy

Not sure about the SS version, but the platinum version can only be bought with the express authorization of Raynald Aeschlimann, so even if they are being delivered, unless you're a great client of Omega's, you can't even order one.

Where did you read that?

I was invited to my local London OB to check out the Platinum 321 late last year/early this year (can't remember exactly) and it was a beautiful timepiece, hefty and precious.

Unfortunately I found it unsuitable since I needed a GADA timepiece & this was definitely not it. As for the steel 321 I was told later on this year.

What I will make clear is that before the Virus skewered everything I was told by my OB that anyone could come in and purchase the 321 if it was in the store. Thus I don't think you need any express authorisation from Mr. Aeschlimann.

Just posted the unboxing of my new 321 in platinum

Congrats sir.

Is it true that Mr Aeschlimann needs express authorization for any purchase?

Yes. Every watch also comes with his personal phone number and a picture of him dressed up as a Roman emperor.

Perhaps that was the original intention, i.e. you had to be approved but then they changed it. Although my OB could have just been conveying incorrect information to me.

Sidenote: What does 'GADA' mean?

GADA = Go all do all.
But yeah OB's aren't known for always dispensing the correct info on their timepieces.
