First post on here, so please go easy. I started collecting Longines watches about a year ago. One of them is a 994 auto from the 1980's. I bought it mainly for the beautiful movement. Does anybody else here have one or even like them?
I bought it on the bay (cheaply) with a broken stem, any suggestions on how to get the broken stem out? DSC_1774.JPG
    TIA

You should be able to get parts easily as either the Longines 99x or the Lemania version of this caliber.

Yes - take it to a watchmaker.

Thanks, ulackfocus, I have bought a replacement stem (ebay again), I checked if it was available before I bought it, it seems to be a recurring problem in these watches, perhaps because they are only worn occasionally and the stem gets used to set date and time every time they are worn. Might as well get it cleaned and serviced at the same time.
