I've been seeing a lot of GTG pictures and I'm prompted to try to make one in Lausanne.

In order to give us enough time to check our busy schedules, let us try to make this happen in mid-July.

Just checking how many of you would be interested?

We can keep it simple with a few beers.

I also like the idea of meeting at the Omega museum. But Lausanne is also fine.

 

I'd consider it, if given enough notice on the date. I like any good excuse to travel to Switzerland!

Well since you guys pretty seem to be taking the lead, we can move the venue. Let's see how many more people we can gather before we decide the venue.

I know a great spot for vintage Omegas in Lausanne! However, since I know nothing about Omegas they could all be Franken's BUT MAYBE NOT!

It's a little hole in a wall. The guy has no website and doesn't reply to any emails. I've dropped by his shop a couple times to talk about Universal Geneve. The shop is filled with watches but he has a wall dedicated to Omegas.

 

Without pictures, who knows if it's true or not?

Maybe it's on a bridge, below a church, very small but full of Omega watches. And the quality is incredible. Franken, please, no such thing exists there.

Both watch shops I know of, close at 12 noon on Saturday which means that visiting will most probably be out of the question.
